So I was helping out a user since her laptop blue screened with a driver error and wouldn't load the OS.
- I then tried to see if I could get a repair of the machine going with a fresh install via USB but the ports werent registering anything in them.
- So I decided to take the laptop apart and pull out the hard drive.
- I attached the drive to a bay in my home pc and was able to copy over any files I felt they may want.
- Then I booted via usb to try and repair the OS and all options failed
- So I restart to a clean install but the OS wouldnt install stating it was GPT, I tried formatting through the OS installation process and that failed also
- I then resorted to going into the repair OS option and opening command prompt and reformatted the disk that way to GPT and it worked.
- I restarted and pushed the OS installation onto the hard drive. Everything went successfully until I took the hard drive out of my PC and attached it back to the laptop. I didnt fully put the base of the laptop back on since it was a bitch to get off, all i did was reattach the hard drive to test.
- Now when I start it up, it powers up momentarily into the Samsung screen and then reboots and gets stuck in that loop. It happens whether its attached to a charger or not.
Laptop INFO:
Samsung series 7 MOdel 6235ANHMW
(the rest im not positive since it wont boot)
Has anyone ran into this before?
