I am in the market for a new laptop.
I have been looking at the MSI GT 72 - 211 and the ASUS G751 JY DH 71 models. Both are priced within my budget. I am looking at getting them from Best Buy for the convenience of having a retail store to deal with any issues or problems. I have read reviews on both and while they seem like very good products, there is a sprinkling of reviews that are not so positive and point to some potential random problems with both.
So now I have added into the mix the option of having the same basic build but going to either Xidax or Origin. The Origin option is priced about the same as Best Buy website. The Xidax is actually a little bit less expensive.
My questions
Am I overly concerned about the random issues on the MSI or ASUS? I mean are they basically good / reliable products.
Anyone have experiences with Origin or Xidax on laptops? How would rate their quality vs other similar options?
Am I overlooking other options in terms of a seller that is more reliable and builds a better product?
Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated
