I am looking for a laptop that I can use for content creation in the next few years as mine is slowly dying. I'm not looking to spend to much but my main goal is having a 4K IPS screen, as well as a processor that can handle video editing, photo manipulation, and 3D rendering. I've managed with my current laptop for 3 years

(Current Laptop - http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9786078) My brother has recently given me his old desktop with an i7 940, 12GB DDR3, and a GTX 950. I've gotten use to the extra power and would like something on par with or better than that system.

I've looked myself but the only laptop I could find was an ASUS Vivobook. (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA66K5TF4409)
coustomizable but $150 USD shipping costs (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-VivoBook-Pro-N552VW-DS79-15-6-4K-UHD-Core-i7-6700HQ-GTX-960M-2GB-Laptop/142341445282)

I'm not expecting to spend more than $1500 CAD ($1200 USD) total (including shipping/taxes) and am not to thrilled to buy used. I'm not expecting to be playing very many games so I'm not worried about getting a less powerful GPU. But I am very strict on only wanting a 4K IPS screen with a quadcore processor (that is hopefully more powerful than an i7 940) and 8 - 16GB RAM (I can't see myself using more)
For I/O Minimum is 3 USB ports, more I/O will unlikely be used but might be handy.

If you can find any laptop that fits that description your help is very much appreciated!

(The ebay link with 16GB RAM and a 120GB SSD/1TB HDD is the highest I will go)

As you can see from the one I have already found, no, I would not have to buy a desktop. I'm asking if I have more options or if this is already the best deal.
