laptop cant recognise a particular wifi network

i just updated my wireless network driver(broadcom 802.11b/g) using driver easy, now i cant seem to find the particular networ

driver easy probably hosed you. please download your drivers from MS or your hardware vendor. You can try uninstalling the device and rebooting, letting windows find the right driver for you.

don't ever use driver update programs, they destroy windows installations.

Third party driver utilities aren't consistently reliable. You're safer not using them and getting your drivers from the OEM, Windows, or the vendor.

I am with them. I have seen more damage and problems caused by those 'driver update' utilities than I have ever seen them be of any help at all. Oh and don't get me started on registry cleaners!
