Laptop Charging Port Broke on New Laptop. And new laptop is slow and noisy.

So I just bought a new HP laptop from Staples: http/www.staples.com/HP-Notebook-15-AY163NR-15-Intel-Core-i7-1TB-5400RPM-Serial-ATA-HDD-8GB-RAM-Windows-10/product_2460649. And the place where you plug it in to charge it broke over the weekend. The laptop still charges, but the cord won't go in fully.

Also, the laptop is kind of slow and is noisy a lot. From the fans. Thanks for any suggestions. Staples return date is 14 days and unfortunately I can't return it their now. Thanks!

And, I still have warranty on the laptop. It comes with a years worth of warranty. Thanks!

If it is under warranty, and you didn't do anything like yank the cord or drop the device, I would take it back.

Call them first and ask if it should go through them or the manufacturer. However if it is that new, I would think it should go through them.

Depends on how long ago the purchase was, but even if past the stores date, it should still be under warranty from the manufacturer if it is under a year.
