Laptop Charging Problem (Water Damage involved)

Hi, I have an issue with my laptop. I accidentally spilled some water on my laptop, the volume of water isn't much, really small volume, like 40-50 ml only... what happened after was as follows:

1. When both battery and charger are plugged in, my laptop cannot detect that the charger is plugged in, and thus continues to be operational on battery power only.

2. When I removed the battery and opened the laptop with the charger only plugged in, it works.

3. I tried plugging the battery back in while my laptop is on AC, my laptop detects that I have a battery, but does not detect that I have a charger plugged in, just like in (1)

What should I do? 🙁 It does not even say "Plugged in, Not Charging"

Solution
Could be a motherboard issue, not a lot you can do here. You can try another battery, but likely the motherboard needs to be replaced unless you can replace the charging circuit or connection on it.
