Hi,

I just got a lenovo z580 laptop with 1gb graphic card.

I am looking for a good laptop cooler.

Please suggest me a good laptop coolar abd i will be keeping on my lap with that cooler so please suggest something related...

Size is 15.6"

Does your laptop have a bottom fan intake/intakes ? If it does, you should get an idea where the intakes are, and get a cooler that has a fan installed blowing upwards at exactly those intake locations. That is the best way to decide on an effective laptop cooler.

You want a laptop cooler that has a fan on it which when put underneath your laptop, blows air directly into the vents on the bottom of your laptop.

That laptop you have shows 2 rows of vents on one side of the computer, so I'd suggest a laptop cooler like this:

Where the fan is user-configurable in terms of placement.

That one has a lip to tilt the laptop up on a solid surface. Might not be very comfortable on your lap. Check this one, good reviews and not too expensive.

The padded one is strictly intended to be used on the lap, and one feedback on Newegg says:

"...padded bottom keeps your lap comfortable."

The Zalman one has bottom that has 4 (or more) rubber anti-slip feets, so I would say its primary purpose is on a flat surface.

BUT, you should check out all the Newegg listings for "laptop cooler". There are TONS of this kind of stuff. Look for a padded one for lap use.
