Laptop cooling problem

So I have the msi ge70 the one with the gtx 660m would a good cooling pad fix my overheating problem? My cpu goes up to 100c when I'm gaming and it worries me. I have a cooling pad and that lowered it by 10c but it still is too much heat. Should I replace the thermal paste or something?

i7-3630qm
gtx 660m
8gigs of ram
750 gb hard drive

Open it up and blow out any and all dust. Check again after that.

If it's still high you could try to replace the thermal paste.

i don't have a screw driver that fits do i have to buy one?

You can try blowing through the vents, but be careful to not let the fan spin to fast.

Or go buy a screwdriver for $2 and try to open it up a bit to allow more space.

It can help, but I usually advocate blowing out the dust as well because it can mess with your cooling pretty badly.

K i'll buy a screwdriver somehow and clean the fan. but last time i checked, 4 months ago, it was sparkle clean
