Question Laptop ctrl key virtually stuck after game crash.

So I tried playing an mmo and it crashed on me. Afterwards the keyboard wasn't typing anymore and I found out the ctrl key was stuck, but not physically. It happened to me once before and I had to completely reset my pc. I really don't wanna do it again. Fast replies mega appreciated.

update BIOS
reinstall all drivers from the laptop´s manufacturer

replace the keyboard or disconnect it and use an USB keyboard for testing
