Laptop Dell Vostro 3550 - Black screeen but works on external monitor

Thought that the screen was collapsed. So bought a new replacement screen install it , and it stills not working, just displays the DELL logo, and nothing more. Laptop works fine with the external monitor. Is it a cable? or what can you suggest.

If I understand the issue correctly, after you replaced the LCD with a new one it would only load up until to the Dell Logo then go black but the external monitor will display normally, right? It can be a problem with the GPU already if the LCD has been replaced already with a new one. Replacing the LCD cable will just result to the same problem specially if it's the the GPU that is already faulty.

Thanks for your time.
One issue I forgot to share,,is that it went black after the upgrade to Windows 10.

Someone else told me that the Bios has to be update.

Any idea before I change the Gpu
