Laptop doesn't turn on battery

I have asus x541uak windows 10 pro 64 bit build.My laptop doesn't start but when i plug in AC then it starts.
My laptop is just 1 month old. I had this issue a week ago, then i really sorted this thing out, i went to control panel and then power options and reset my power plan and then my laptop did start. I knew it was a software issue. But now even doing this thing my laptop doesn't start from battery.it says plugged in charging and stuck at 97%. My battery health 100%.i have non removable battery please help.???even windows say power mode : Plugged in (not battery).should i try to reset windows ?????
