Laptop for Android development & VMware

I am looking for opinions on a laptop, mainly I would use this laptop for android app development and VM for hadoop. Please suggest me some high performance laptop models.

I live in USA, budget would be 600-1000.

Usage : Java/J2ee development, Android App development.

You are comparing two laptops from the same manufacturer with a 50% price gap, so the choice is obviously the more expensive Y 50, as it is a much better performing machine.
