Hi everyone I'm looking for a new laptop I'm an architecture student and I need my laptop for programs such as autocad, 3dmax, etc.... so maybe you can help me :)

1. What is your budget?

$1300 top

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

14-17"

3. What screen resolution do you want?

whatever

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

both

5. How much battery life do you need?

+6hrs

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

maybe fifa but its not too important as cad 3d modeling programs

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

dvd writer would do the trick

considering dell xps 17 hp envy 14 or dv7tqe apple macbook pro and sony f series

Dell XPS 15z is a good choice.
XPS 17/Envy 14/DV7 are all good but none of them last for at least 6 hrs
