Having to just return a laptop I just got to amazon, I've been searching around for a laptop that I could find that would live up to my daily tasks and a little more. I've got around $480 right now and I can possibly get $500 in a bit. Is there a good laptop or discounted one that would serve for using Autodesk Inventor every day, some light gaming, and surviving for at least 3-4 hours + while running MS Word?

As far as I know, the specs I would be looking for would be a dedicated video card, at least an i5, plenty of ram (8 gigs at least), and just a personal preference, a 1920x1080 screen (preferably 15.6"). Doesn't have to have a great hard drive. I'll replace it with an SSD that I have laying around. Not looking for a gaming laptop, just one to do my daily tasks fast (and maybe make a few friends jealous).

Any tips or pointers to laptops that I could grab for around my price range? One that I was looking at was this:

And the one that I previously had was:

Help, maybe?
