laptop for developer

I'm looking to buy a laptop with the below requirement and i'd like to get some recommendations.

location : UK.

budget: around the 500-600£

i might be ok with used / refurbished.

need:
CPU: i5 / i7.
RAM: 4x2 / 8x2.
storage: 120-256GB SSD.
display: IPS FHD / 1440p.
display size: 14-15".

not needed (and dont want):
VGA port,
CD/DVD,
HDD,
touchscreen nonsense

would love:
thin bezel,
light wight

Getting New, 1440p, 16GB, and i7 and ~250GB SSD might be tough in the budget, I can't find anything...

I agree with the HP EliteBook Workstation 8470w suggestion. In your case take the CD/DVD out and put in a bigger SSD. The only back is the LBS but its a true road warrior that line of HPs. Other wise it is a good fit for what your looking for.
