I am looking for a laptop for gaming and college projects and am not 100% what to be looking out for. I wouldn't like to go over 1500euro. I was looking at the Asus GL502VM which has an i7 and a GTX1060 GPU for 1500 on Amazon but is there a similar brand that would be cheaper? Or should I look at the GTX 1050ti models? Id like to play new games at medium settings @60fps at 1080p.

Any suggestions on what to look at or avoid is welcome.

Also the college work would be just basic written projects.

If your wanting 60FPS at 1080P I would not get a GTX 1050Ti based model. You really want at least a GTX 1060 6GB to game at that level and that s assuming your not using a lot of filtering and AA as well otherwise you want even more GPU then that.

Ok so Ill go for the 1060 so. Does the Asus GL502VM sounds like a good option? Or are you aware of something better?
