1. What is your budget?
I can't afford anything over $1500

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I'm looking for something portable and big enough to do some gaming, so probably 15"? But I'm not sure

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Around 1080p

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
I would be bringing it to school most days, so portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
This is the most important one. I'd need it to last through the day, so no less than 4 hours. I could charge multiple batteries and switch during the day if the laptop could do that.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I'd like to play basic games like CSGO on medium to high settings, hopefully above 100FPS. I might be hooking up an external monitor for gaming if that's an option.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Just gaming and basic web browsing

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Anywhere 500GB and up.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
N/A

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
I've been using my 2012 mac for 5 years now, so around that long.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
None necessary

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
While I currently use a Mac, I'd like to get a Windows one so that I can play some PC-only video games

13. What country do you live in?
United States (California)

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
I'm pretty new to computers, so dumb it down a little bit for me, thanks.

alienware 13. dell's website has a page on it where you can build that thing yourself. check that out. settling for minimal hardware might get you an average gaming laptop around 800-900, but better hardware might take you to 1300 or more.
