Laptop for gaming/school

Hi guys,

Since my old computer is getting old and not functioning at it's best I started looking for a new laptop. I cam across a Lenivo ideapad with the following stats

– Intel Quad Core i7-4700MQ (2.4 - 3,4 GHz)
– AMD Radeon R7 M265 (up to 6 GB/2 GB detached)
– 8 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz
– 1000 GB + 8 GB SSD

I was wondering if this is good for games like DayZ and such

Hi,

What settings were you looking to play DayZ at? If you are happy with medium(isn) settings you'll be able to enjoy DayZ just fine with this laptop. Might I suggest a ITX build as they also save on space and much more powerful than a laptop, and with a DIY build you can get much more stronger components and get much better gaming performance.
