I am in need of a new laptop before my Senior year in Interior Architectural Design. I have to run AutoCad, 3ds Max, Sketchup, ShaderLight, InDesign and a few others. I'm not a Mac person and don't want to convert now. Also not a techie but know a little about what the specs. I have about a $2000 budget but don't want to spend money that isn't worth it since I'm a college student. Was looking at a Dell Precision 6700 laptop then someone told me about MSI and Asus. I would greatly appreciate any help.

I am fine with ordering on-line or shopping a retail store. As to the screen size, I have seen that a 17" is recommended for this type of work; however, I have been making do with a 15". Thanks for your help!
