Help!
I'm using ASUS N46V with i7 8GB RAM Win10. It freezes when I plugged the power in and I had to force it to shut down by pressing the power button. I have tried most solutions I can find on the web:
- Disabling processor
- Disabling AC Adapter
- Using high performance mode
- Memory scan
- Disk scan
- Defrag
- Resetting Chrome (at first I thought it was because of Chrome)
- Using ACHI instead of IDE

But it is still happening. Any help would be much appreciated, since I need my laptop to work on my Thesis, which is due in a few weeks.

Solution
A thought is try having your laptop without battery and connected to adapter and see if the issue persists.Try with another adapter. Also try entering in bios with ac adapter plugged and see if you get the same freeze.
