comes to around 3k... if anyone has a better idea or can tell me how i will fair on games like cod4 or crysis please let me know need some info here open to suggestions!!!

u will be able to play both of them fairly well, crysis probably not on high (with good fps) though. maybe u should wait a while since the 8800m card is fairly new and is probably way overpriced at the moment to save a few bucks or maybe even go for an sli system

how the heck did you go about getting 3k for a gaming system!!

haha whats the trick? - Sounds aweosme to me mate 😛 Would kick my desktop out of the water (just about). I think you would have no probs cod4 on high and POSSIBLY crysis.

I'm glad u listened to what i have told u about the laptops and i am sure u will enjoy it, its a solid laptop and u wont have any problems running those games
also u have the chance of adding the second 8800M GTX later :)

The only thing I'd question about that laptop is the 5400 rpm drive, it'll be your main bottleneck. I'd suggest upgrading to a 7200 rpm if you can afford that (considering the 3 grand...😛)

LOL. I love it, he gets money for school and he spends it on gaming.

maybe not just gaming but he'll do otherstuff for school too. thats what im doing with my np5792 when i get it...
