laptop gives beep while start

my laptop gives continuous beep while starting but gets start after frequently pressing any key. I have clear ram bt still it happens so what to do

It is your BIOS giving POST codes. I gives out codes for different hardware error. Differnt make of BIOS, different type of beeping sound and meaning. May I know the make and model of your notebook
