Update your drivers on with the Auto Detect utility on AMD's website, and run windows update.

In addition, your laptop graphics aren't all that great, so dial back settings in your games with advanced settings. Make sure your turn off Anti-Aliasing.

If you can, do a fresh install of your OS. That will make your experience smoother.

If you upgrade your hard drive to an SSD, your computer will be more reliable and load everything many times faster.

Your GPU is cart of your Processor. Since you have a laptop, you cannot upgrade either of these parts. Sorry. If you want better graphics, you will have to invest in a new computer.

Laptops do not have PCI slots. Your processor is soldered onto the motherboard, and is therefore not removable.
eGPU's really don't work very well, and are very expensive.

I am having a lot of problems with my laptop?

The laptop has not been used that much (630GB left from a 903GB drive) and the graphics are horrendous, as in jumpy, slow, choppy - even on Command & Conquer 2!!

I tried to play BF3 and that was hideous

i can get away with Halflife2 & Counterstrike with no massive hiccups

surely this laptop should be able to handle BF3 & C&C2 red alert onwards?

like i said the way to describe it is, slugish, jumpy and very very annoying!

if anyone can help please give me some suggestions/pointers to try out

AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM

Dual HD graphics

Radeon 8650G & 7670M

Surely this should be ok?

Thanks for looking at this
