I have a HP625, which has served me pretty well for the things that I have needed it for up to know, but I occasionally get blue screen of death, which has only been happening recently. The bccode is 116, which I believe to be a problem with the graphics card.

I will be using programs such as and similar to autocad, but after a while of using them, the program will freeze, then the screen will go black for a couple of seconds, and a message will appear saying "display driver AMD stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

Is there anything that can be done?
Does the graphics card need replacing?
Can it be replaced?

Any advice would be appreciated

Solution
It might just be overheating, check temps. Replacing the mobo would probably cost too much if you could even find it and it's not wise to spend money on such an old piece of hardware.
