Laptop Internet connection suddenly slow

Why is my laptop wireless connection so slow? though it says 11mbps but when I open any website like facebook it loads like ages please help me!

I doubt it would be your ISP (internet service provider ) here are some helpful answers :

*do you have a reliable good quality wireless device (card/chip)?

*try some other browser(s)

*Remember www.speedtest.net is not a very accurate tool in most circumstances

*try Ethernet if possible

*change you router/gateway settings
