Laptop is around a month old.. And is all of a sudden slow as hell

May 30, 2013
So I bought this laptop for gaming, Currently it has done a great job, i've been able to run any game at high detail - specs
Chassis & Display Cosmos Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i7 Dual Core Mobile Processor i7-4610M (3.0GHz) 4MB

Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 850M - 2.0GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX® 11

2nd Graphics Card NONE

Memory - Hard Disk 750GB WD SCORPIO BLACK WD7500BPKX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 16MB CACHE (7200 rpm)

2nd Hard Disk NONE

DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 8x SATA DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW)

Memory Card Reader Internal 9 in 1 Card Reader (MMC/RSMMC/SD: Mini, XC & HC/MS: Pro & Duo)

So yesterday when i played games I would get 60-100 fps on most games.. more on games like league of legends which don't use up too much of anything.

but now today all of a sudden I am only getting 15-25 fps on league and my whole laptop just feels slower overall, from opening programs to starting up the laptop, SVCHOST was using up over 1millionK earlier but that has dropped, it seems to slow down a lot when i open up chrome or skype but that might just be where i notice the problem the most?
League of legends is using up 800,000k memory and the client is using 300,000k so that is over 1 million just on league.. Is this normal? Any idea what the issue could be? as you can see I am running 16gb ram and 750gb hard drive so that shouldn't be the problem?

Lol and client just spiking at over 1.5millionK

I am not sure if it is getting too hot, all the temps in my performance monitor seem fine so i assume not, yeah it is in warranty so that'll probably be mybest bet if i can't find a fix
