Hi, I have got a Acer Aspire v5 laptop.
About a month ago i realised that my laptop was very slow, i could't watch youtube videos without waiting like 5 minutes to load.League of legends was really laggy (now i've got a ban haha) and any other games were unplayable.. Yesterday I decided to restart my laptop to factory settings. After 28% of progress it just stopped and turned off. I tried to do it again but nothing worked, after turning on “There was a problem resetting your PC” so I was only able to refresh. Now I re-installed Tomb Raider for example, still laggy. I tried to change the settings of my graphic card but nothing worked. The specs are:

Operating System: Windows 8
Processor: Intel(R)Core(TM) i5-3317U CPU @ 1.70GHz
RAM: 6GB
64-bit operating system

I thought that maybe something is overheating but i have no idea what is 'too hot'.

Thanks :)

Have you checked the computer to see what is being run when it starts. Many programs will run even though you don't see it, they have processes running the background from the word go. It can be very frustrating, especially when you try to use things that are graphics intensive.
