laptop/Keyboard random malfunctioning

Hello, for the past two days my laptop/keyboard have been malfunctioning while typing for example when I press on any button (mostly first row of letters) it registers two keys simultaneously. for example When i press W it registers W and mutes the sound (f2) even happens vice versa and each button does two different things. This has happened before but it used to be fixed by just rebooting the laptop now that doesn't work, I also tried system restore that didn't work as well. (Im using on screen keyboard to type this)
This is the pattern of typing on the actual keyboard:q`we(controls volume)r5 ty u6 i=o(opens project for monitors)p-

This sounds like a dirty/sticky keyboard. Does this happen when you connect and use an external keyboard?

Thats what I thought at the beginning but even after getting the keys cleaned it still doesn't work properly. I just tried an external keyboard still the same result

You never answered the question about using an external keyboard?

Cleaning under the keys is difficult, if not impossible with some models. Often, the only solution is to replace the keyboard.
