Laptop memory from usa compatability issues

i have just purchased some laptop 133 512mb x2 for my maxdata laptop. ihave just found out it is from the usa.
can anyone please tell me if i will have any problems with this

the mem. installed is 256 mb pc 133 sodimm

Welcome to the forums.

I was more interested in the manufacture and model number of the RAM.

To find out what you have installed use CPU-Z
http/www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

The SPD tab will tell you the Manufacture and part number.

i have not recieved the memory yet and to get to the memory out of the laptop i have to strip it down.its under the keyboard.
the laptop is a maxdata 1000t .
can i please get back to you when the memory comes from the supplier.
