Connect the mic's analog 3.5mm jack to the analog port on your laptop.
The prerequisite is that the mic you have has a 3.5mm analog or at least a USB port which will go onto the corresponding port on your laptop. Speaking of laptop's, can you mention the make and model of your laptop?
