Laptop no post

I am in possession of a toshiba l450D-12x, the laptop was working fine in till a ram change, since then the laptop fails to even post

The fans spin however the hdd activity light shows nothing

The function key works, however i don't seem to be able to do anything with it

The display doesn't even power on, i tested an external monitor and no joy

i have tried draining power

Any advice?

Change the RAM back. You may have bad or incompatible RAM.

Fixed!

i remover the ram then held exc and power till it powered on, then turned it off

reinstalled the ram

and hooorah it lives
