Laptop not charging

I have an Acer E1-571 laptop I rarely use it and when I tried to charge it, it doesn't charge. My laptop was like less than 5% battery life, so it went dead when I was plugging it to the charger. I tried a different wall plug but it still didn't charge

I would try removing the battery. If the laptop will run directly from your power adapter then you probably need a new battery. You can get one for ~$20 on Amazon. If it won't run directly from the adapter, you either need a new adapter or to have your power port on the laptop replaced.
