laptop not connecting

Why won't my laptop connect to the wifi wirelessly or with ethernet? The wifi connects to other devices and computers in the house. I had to wipe the laptop clean, so could this be part of the problem or is it something entirely different?

lol you have to install drivers for ethernet , or wifi , the way i do it is use a pc/laptop with the internet then use a usb/cd to transfer the drivers onto the laptop with no drivers install the drivers then i cheer since i am one laptop closer to the internet
