Hello.

The title sums up the issue pretty much. The laptop is a custom laptop from pcspecialist.co.uk and is maybe 2 years old at most. It's had no issues until just today when it refused to turn on any more. It was working normally only a couple hours prior to the issue happening, and it was put on standby by closing the screen. When I try to turn it on, the LED at the front goes green for maybe 3 seconds and then turns off. Nothing else turns on when the button is pressed, not the fans screen or keyboard lights.

I wanted to know if there was some way I could fix it at home before having to send it somewhere for repairs, so if you need any more info I'll share.

Thank you.

I'm guessing the main board has failed. Which model laptop is it?

You can try an NVRAM reset, CMOS reset, try running off the bare minimum components, but some of this will require you to open it.
