Laptop not turning on

Hello guys
I need Your help...I have a notebook isue.
It wont turn on properly.
It starts wirking but the screen is black.
At first I managed to start him after several shut downs but now its worse,everything lights up and i hear the hard and the cooler but screen is black.
Certain time i used him but i didnt shut him down...just shut the lid and it was working just fine...but recently i accedentaly shut it down and since then i cant turn it on....what could be the problem?

what model do you have?

is it a old laptop or new?

have you tried to use a external monitor via hdmi or any other available port?

its an HP Pavilion 17-e115sm and it was bought around 3-4 years ago... i did try plugging a hdmi and connecting it to an external monitor but it didnt work.

i think is out of warranty, correct?

can you open the laptop and remove and reseat the ram sticks?

also while at it, remove battery for some time, including, if you can, the internal cmos battery if visible

I opened the laptop and cganged the positions of the ram sticks but still didnt work...but i did notice that the hard drive didnt make any sound and that it didnt spin.
