Question Laptop not using the right gpu

I have a Nvidea GTX 1050 & a intel UHD 630. It keeps using the intel and not the Nvidea, but I've tried everything, updated it, done literally everything in Nvidea control panel, reset the laptop 2 times, nothing works. I'm on the verge of giving up.

which laptop is it?
Use only the drivers of the laptop´s support homepage, not from nvidia directly
BIOS is up to date?

How do you know it is not using your GTX1050?

run 3dmark basic edition , click on compare result online after that and post the address from your upcoming browser
