Laptop Only Has One Wifi Lead, Need 2?

So I'm upgrading my c55-a5310 wifi card for better connectivity and bluetooth. Once I dissembled my laptop I saw that it only has one lead when the new card takes two leads (old card only had one connector) so I am just assuming to use the one lead to plug into the main and I will be fine? Could I mod the laptop to have two leads or is it even necessary and will I occur and problems down the line with just using one lead?

You need a single-connector card like the one you're replacing. Additionally, you need to check with the laptop manufacturer which replacement cards are compatible (ie make & model).
