I've got a ASUS k56cb-xx005h (no replaced parts, except an SSD a month ago) wich oddly enough starts only once every 1-50 times I press the power button. Once it took me a day or 2 just to get it online again.
When I press the power button, all the LEDs light up for about 3 seconds, and that's it. When it does go on, it goes on as regular. If I close it, I've got the same problem again. For some reason, the battery won't charge either, even if I switch out power cables. Sleep mode works fine, hybernation doesn't
I've tried starting it with and without battery and charger, to no effect. Also tried turning off the quick start option in the power management menu
