Laptop overheated , won't turn back on.

I had left my laptop to run some games for a few hours, When I came back it was shut off and totally cool. Before I left for some reason the FPS in the game was lower than usual, and the laptop felt a little warm. After I came back it would not turn on anymore, I disconnected the battery and tried to t urn it on with the power cable connected but nothing. The power cable still has a green light so I know its still working.

try doing a power drain.remove the battery and unplugged the charger.hold the power button for 30second and release.plug in the battery and charger and see if it works again.
