Laptop Power Button

I can't switch on my laptop with power button. I worried and tried to charge it then the charging still worked out! Last night I dropped some water onto the touch pad and the touch system slowed down a bit. Please let me know whether my computer was totally broken down or not.

don´t use it, remove the battery, let it dry for about a week

or disassemble and clean it, try powering on only if you are sure it´s dry
