I got a Lenovo Y 510P with an Intel Core i5-4200M Processor.Will it be possible to upgrade it to Core i7-4700MQ?

I would suggest calling lenovo and asking in very very specific terms what you want to know. I called dell about a CPU upgrade and no one knew anything till I got to a smart person. Ask for a supervisor and say "I would like to know what cpu chip series are compatible with my X brand of lenovo. What was the best cpu chip that shipped with my model of laptop that I ctn upgrade myself to (this is important because even though it is compatible, it might not work, because of heat or power issued. if it shipped built into one it must work properly)"
