Hello,
I have a problem with my Asus X550JK laptop. It goes to sleep fine but seems to reboot when I press a key to wake it up. I get the same problem with Windows 10 and Linux Mint 17.2. The partition scheme is UEFI/GPT. I don't think it is related to dual-booting because I tried installing each OS on it's own (I deleted the old EFI boot partiton and created a new one). This happens only with sleep/suspend, hibernation works. I'd appreciate any advice you can offer.

Btw. I tried with BIOS/MBR, I get the same problem. When I try installing Mint with BIOS/GPT, it won't boot, and GParted doesn't recognize the bios_grub partition. I'm saying this just in case the two problems are related.

1) Search for "CMD"
2) Right click "CMD" and "Run as Administrator"
3) In the command line, type in "powercfg.exe /hibernate off"

Try this on Windows and let me know your findings.

Thanks for your reply. I tried it, but it doesn't solve the problem.
