Hi, i'm looking for a new laptop due to my current 5 year old laptop overheating and shutting down after very short usage.
1. What is your budget?
No more than £450
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15 at the smallest, preferably bigger.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
The best for the price range i'm looking at, no particular needs on this one.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable replacement.
5. How much battery life do you need?
Will be plugged in mostly when using it, but the longer the better.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No not at all, if anything it will be a Facebook game here and there which a PC worth aound £400 should be capable of.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Mostly internet browsing/surfing, uploading pictures here and there. Waching videos also.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Hard drives that come with Laptops in that price range should be adequate for our needs.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I am from the UK so only reputable sites such as Dell, HP, PC world, Currys etc.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
My previous laptop lasted around 5 years, would like this one to be able to last similar amount of time.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVD reader and writer.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
The main reason i'm posting is to find out which brand, out of the most reputable ones, is best to get a laptop in my price range.

I suppose what i'm looking for is the best built laptop which is going to last me as long as possible. Also with good customer support so i don't have to mess around if anything goes wrong.
