This will be used for software development. It needs to have a fast CPU over anything else to compile projects as fast as possible.

Not much, but we want an SSD. 128GB is more than we need.

/eurocom.com/ looks to fit what you want. I chose the 6990m graphics card, and the i7-2760QM cpu, and the 128gb ssd on there, and it came to 1481 EU. Looks like a winner to me.
