Laptop Screen Bugged ?

Not really experienced with all this, all I can say is that I was doing work and then suddenly this section turned dark and nothing I've done helped. Any advice or help would be appreciated !!

looks like a backlight fault of the display. Replace the display or if you have warranty for the laptop, send it back to the shop/manufacturer.

Which laptop brand and model is it?

Razer Blade 14, do you know what might have caused it?

bad components, bad soldering while manufacturing, heat, dropped laptop, age of the laptop,....

I see, well seeing as that I no longer have warranty for it I guess I'll just have to get it replaced. Thanks for the help !
