Laptop screen goes black by sunlight

If my laptop screen is exposed to medium or strong sunlight it goes flickering and black. If i turn it away from the source (even a reflection will trigger it) it works fine again. It has been doing this for 5 years now and nobody seems to know this problem. Please help

What type of Laptop do you have? Has it been doing this since you bought it?

the screen might have worn away, so the sunlight affects the crystals in ur LCD which causes them to die
