Laptop Screen is not working

Hello,
My laptop screen is not working. I hooked up an extra monitor so I can see. What can I do?

if it under warranty have the vendor replace it. if not you have to replace the part that went bad. if you flash a light on the lcd screen can you weakly see an image??? if so then then what called led backlight has failed. if there nothing on the screen it could be the lcd screen or the power/data board and cables. sometime over time the data cable (brown or sliver comes lose or breaks from use.
