laptop screen went in for replacement now technician can't get display to work

Hi can anyone advise me what has happened to my laptop, i put it in for lcd screen repair and when i went to collect it the guy said he cant get it to display and does not know why. The laptop was working fine before i took it into the shop now it not working and he has had it over a week now, can anyone help

Make sure the #'s on the new and old screen match identically. They can look the same but may not be the same. Also the technician should know how to troubleshoot this.... A bit scary hes at a loss. If i were him I'd take it apart and make sure everything was hooked up properly and something didn't come apart while reassembling it
