laptop screen wont turn on and keyboard not working.

After cleaning my laptop. Display and keyboard not working,i also tried with another monitor, but it didnt work, i took it to a shop they say my graphic card has stopped working. but it was working well before i did cleaning.Shop keeper says to change the motherboard. i have asus k55vj laptop. Do i need to change my mobo. or there can be any other hardware problem.

With the "cleaning" it's tough to know what is going on, did you check all the cables? It could very well need a new motherboard, almost anything that would cause the keyboard to not work and the screen not to work is on the motherboard.
