laptop seeing blue screen after user sign in

I have a windows 8 system. I haven't moved over to 8.1. I have my son as a sign in account on my lap top and now when he signs in he gets a blue screen. I don't get a blue screen when I sign in to my account.

I'd create a new user on your laptop for your son. Once created, copy the user files (pictures, documents, music, etc..) from his old account over to the new one. Once everything is working fine, delete the old user.
